Im getting different results from different programs?

OK SO I PUSHED MY SYSTEM TO 4.0GHZ AND IM ABLE TO BOOT INTO WINDOWS AND RUN PRIME95 FOR 6HOURS RIGHT SO HERS THE PROBLEM IN MY BIOS IT SAYS DUAL CORE CPU AT 4000MHZ(4.0GHZ) RAM RUNNING AT 1600MHZ AROUND THERE BUT IN CPU-Z IT SAYS 2.84GHZ AND I KNOW IVE POSTED ON THIS BEFORE BUT NOW IF I RUN DUAL CORE CENTER IN WINDOWS IT SAYS 4.0GHZ AND IF I RUN THIS OTHER PROGRAM(FORGOT THE NAME )IT SAYS 2.94 NOW I KNOW DUAL CORE CENTER IS RIGHT CAUSE THATS WHAT IS SAYS IN BIOS ASWELL ANY IDEAS IM VERY CONFUSED AS TO WHY IM GETTING SO MANY DIFFERENT RESULTS?

Please, DO NOT WRITE IN ALL CAPS.

Disable Speedstep/EIST/Enhanced Intel SpeedStep and also disable C1E or any other C states. Both of these options are in your bios, probably around the CPU configuration area but may be elsewhere so take a look around.

That should be sufficient. Did it fix the problem? Does CPU-Z show your clockspeed at the right frequency now?

it was all already off sorry forgot to mention that.and it still says 2.84ghz do you think my cpu is really at 2.84 or is it just a problem maybe with drivers or something?
