Quiet 120mm fans? - Page 2

Hi,

Noctua fans are really good but also really ugly colour scheme so i normally avoid them,

I started to use enermax tb silence and these are great i have 4 in my water cooled setup and one in my HTPC.

I'd also recommend the Termalright's X Silent, they also come with rubber "screws"

@OP any 120mm fan at ~900 rpm or bellow will be silent. There are pricier ones that spin at 1k-1,3 K rpm and still remain quiet(you can only hear the airflow) but you said you don't want to buy expensive fans so just get any fan under 1k rpm...doesn't really matter.

On the other hand if you asked which silent fan pushes the moust amount of air, then it would matter which fan to choose....

I got some fans they just got in at my electronic store (Frys Electronics) made by a company called CityNet. I was actually extremely impressed how well they worked and how quiet they were. 120MM was like $6 and 80MM $5. Says they blow 66-68CFM, no doubt it. Using 2 80's and 1 120 and my case is running loads cooler.
