At least it's a rebrand of a good mouse instead of some gimmicky pos like the WoW mice.

for me it's not a BS. The look is AWESOME, they have made a good work on the design. Yeah, it looks a bit like a kid toy compared to the xai, but i am actually a kid . they just need an optical sensor.. darn

I like how the mouse looks like aside from the diablo3 branding, if this has the Xai sensor this its a POS mouse.

The sensor text was changed to this:
"Avago laser sensor with up to 5700 CPI"

Also about the switches:
"with a guaranteed lifespan of 10 million clicks – that’s 3x more than an average mouse."

Wonder what they are using.

http://faq.steelseries.com/questions...aming+mouse%3F

"3) Full macro support including keyhold and modifer key macros for use outside the game."

Looks like they use the same SROM for the A9500 as Logitech has for their G9x/G700/G500

Most likely 10 mio clicks rated normal Omron switches, nothing special.

Something they should have implemented for the Xai a long time ago.

10mio clicks is something I only seen recently, in this mouse and in the new logitech g400 mouse coming out soon. So its definately not the normal rated for omron switches
post #18 of 26
They were exclusive to Logitech for a pretty long time but are publicaly available for quite some time.

So will this version of the sensor not have that problem where if you get any dust/hair in the sensor it freaks out till you clean it? I had that problem with the original xai, if they fixed it in this diablo mouse I would buy it asap!

Don't think so, the mouse will most likely still be very picky about dust/hair.
