Which GTX570?

Thread Starter
Well, the 6950 I RMA'd back to Newegg has been changed to a refund. So I've decided to up the ante a bit and go to a GTX570. Question is: Which one? I'd like to keep the cost at about $350. I'd like a card that runs relatively cool but oc's well. Noise isn't so much of an issue for me.

ASUS ENGTX570 DCII 319 after rebate. overclocks well, runs cool, quiet

i'd consider MSI N570GTX Twin Frozr III too, but it's more expensive. overclocks better (as i've heard), runs cool, almost as quiet as the asus card

I was just checking out that Twin Frozr III while you were posting. Sexy beast. I'm on the verge of pulling the trigger on it.

the msi tfiii is arguably the best 570 out there, so you can rest assured that it will worth every $, but at a $50 price difference, the asus is more of a steal, and performs fairly close to the msi version. tough call

Same two as above or Gigabytes Windforce X3. Although I have heard from a fellow OCNer that the Gigabytes are not great when placed closely together in SLI. But then again the Asus is a 3 Slot so that might not even fit in SLI.
My first choice would probably be the MSI, and then Asus. But since the Asus is cheaper, and if money was tight, I think maybe my inner pimp would choose that one instead, cause it simply looks awesome.

The Asus DCII looks pretty cool and it has a 6 VRM's. TFIII is cool too

Get any 570gtx that is non reference PCB with extra VRM's.

In the end the $50 diff was the clincher. Went with the Asus. Thanks for the suggestions gang.
