Nope I currently use a wheel mouse optical. I'm willing to make the sacrifices to use it, not that no one else can, but with mouses out there like the Spawn, there's no excuse to recommend a wheel mouse optical.

So in the dozens of threads where you unquestioningly recommend and tout the Spawn, you yourself have never even used it?

Seems kind of.. uh.. dumb.

If I were making claims about how the mouse would feel in your hand, yes.

But I'm just talking about the sensor. The Spawn's Avago 3090's performance is well documented and does not vary from mouse to mouse.

I'm a quality nut, own more mice than anyone should really.

Of all the mice I own the Cooler Master mice easily take the prize.

CM Inferno is easily my fave, close second by the Sentinel and Spawn.

Just have the best build quality, features, price, and they actually last.

Where is it documented? It's only used in two mice, and both are very new, with one not even available for mass purchase yet, the other is only available for preorder.

I was using the googles to search for the sensor, and found this quote from you less than a month and a half ago about the Avago 3090

Not to me anyway.

Its the sister sensor of the avago adns-s3888 which is used in the razer deathader 3.5g so its bound to perform very similar

Its documented just here in this forum, this is what puretrak got out of it

"Prelim tests for the A3090 sensor are below.

Perfect Control (meters/sec) @ 3.963
Malfunction Speed (meters/sec) @ 4.638

Specs recorded at 1000dpi."

the avago 3090 wasnt better 1month ago because then it still had high lift off distance. Cooler master managed to fix that with firmware update so now its flawless
