Hi,

I would like to 1:1 my system.

My hardware is :
Processor : Intel E4600
RAM : PC2-6400 ( 2 GIG X 4 Sticks )
Mobo : Gigabyte GA-G33M-DS2R

How do i go about doing it?

I don't think that running that system @ 1:1 is possible or at least a good idea..

Your CPU operates @ 2.4GHz (200MHz FSB x 12)

Your RAM is 800MHz..

So in short in order to run FSB:RAM=1:1 your RAM would run at only 400MHz (200 x 2) instead of 800MHz..

Set your FSB to 200MHz which is default and manually set your RAM to 800MHz (if it doesn't work then try 667 or 553MHz)

Your system would be much faster if you run your RAM @ 800MHz..

CHEERS..

mine is a 400 mhz ram. I do not know why but CPUZ reports it as 400 mhz

Secondly, what do you recommend for my system set up?

DDR=Double data rate so its really 400x2=800

If you're interested in overclocking you could simply move your fsb up from 200 too say 205 and then run stability and temperature monitoring programs too test your overclock for stability and proper temps.Keeping it under 70-75 would be safe for max load temps running Intel burn test.

My last setup ran 1:1.

E6300 (1.86GHz) @ 3.01GHz
DDR2 800 @ 860 4-4-4-12
FSB @ 1720MHz

Why 1:1? Because I couldn't run my ram any slower. IOW I was OC limited by my ram.
