I would not be surprised if something like that happened, although I expect the method will be more subtle and less expensive than giant flying bombs.

Even if they did take it, proof they did the deed, it would still be OK with me. Publishing it openly is a step too far.
I have no love for the feds, but this seems like a damn foolish thing to have done. However, it could not have been accomplished by fools, so therefore there must be an ulterior motive. I predict the incident will be used to promote increasingly oppressive government policy, and suspect it was a gambit carried out by the entity(s) that would benefit from such policy using clueless useful idiots said entity(s) manipulated into desiring to pull of this attack. It looks like a textbook Hegelian triad - create the problem, sell the solution, with the result being the imposition of one's Will on manifest reality.
