Overclocked Superclocked EVGA GTX580 Didn't Wake Up

Thread Starter
I tried adjusting the power saving settings to go to sleep after an hour. Just not comfortable letting this water cooled system run over night yet because of how high I have it overclocked.

It's been running 100% stable when on for several days now, but when I went to bring the computer out of sleep mode this morning, it powered up, gave three short beeps, and the monitor didn't wake up.

I turned the machine off, waited 10 min, turned it on, and everything's fine. Even recovered all the apps I had running as if I never turned the machine off, including several excel spreadsheets I had not even yet saved.

I have the cpu OC'd to 5.1 GHz and the video card is at the following:

Core Voltage: 1088
Core Clock: 900
Shader Clock: 1800
Memory Clock: 2025

I'm wondering if I need to make a slight adjustment to the memory clock. At least that's my guess. Just not sure how much if that's the issue.

I've done all the heaviest stress tests I can put on the video card and have 0 artifacts. I installed Shogun 2 and was playing it yesterday on max detail settings and absolutely no problems. Even while running cpu intensive data mining in the background.

CPU temps never got over 70 and GPU temps never got over 40.

Any ideas?

Sometimes the drivers can go quirky.
