That's exactly what I asked but I do not think that we will ever get that answer.

Wow, still not taking accountability.

Just makes me even more happy I never purchased any of your goods. Your best bet would probably be to stay quiet and let the storm blow over. You sure aren't doing your incompetent company any favors by posting.

I just got paid and I have a shopping cart full of EK products over at performancepcs that total almost 1k...but it has since been on hold because of this issue...I still want my EK blocks, I want EK to take my money, but not until this issue is resolved or I can get a guarantee that new blocks are being sent to resellers.

IMO, use copper blocks only or other brand. No Nickel.

I just did a quick count over on XS, after reading about 6-7 pages of the EK nickel plate fail thread I counted 4 people reporting the issue, some from the past, some current. That's hardly masses of people. I do agree with you though, I would hold off until there is a definite answer and direction in place.

Eddy, would you mind to explain this for me?
I have 3 Ek Nickle Plated block (Ram + GTX 470 + Rampage III extreme) which all bought at the same time from performance-pcs . I only use distilled water + PT nuke in my loop, and these blocks never once touched any other coolants. How come only GTX 470 block have this problem but not other two?
Why don't you just go ahead and admit that the reason is because of your company failure during the plating process. And how dare you claiming that users were not paying attention because of the lack of knowledge?

Isn't that semantics? They refused RMA's if you used an additive. Sounds similar to saying "not a manufacturing issue, it was user error/damage" and then they refused the RMA's. I know in the end they made some modifications and all but still sounds like semantics to me anyways.

BTW I do remember reading the thread about this issue on another forum - I just put it out of my mind though since the only EK product I have bought was an acetal top for my pumps. I steered clear of all other EK problems since I have read MANY reports of issues with their blocks prior to my purchasing my recent loop and because of the way Eddy handled the last incident.

This thread so far hasn't convinced me otherwise unfortunately.

One other note...a lot of the reports seem to be revolving around VGA blocks...but I could be mistaken.
