So since they have decided to pull the line from other stores/resellers I would have to order directly from eks website correct? I need to email eddy and make sure that if I use mayems dye + biocide I am still covered under the warranty.

Glad they stopped the shipment and are giving 2 year warranty, but I think they should pay for shipping back!

My next build was going to be fully watercooled (CPU, GPU, MOBO, MEMORY) all using EK gear.

Well no way in hell I'm using EK now. Sure, my Copper/Acetal GTX580 block is doing fine but just on principle I can't buy EK again.

You are screwing your customers over because of your own manufacturing issues. You continued to sell nickel plated produts for months even after being aware of issues and now you only offer a 6 week period for customers to send their blocks back for replacement at the customers expense.

I'm sorry Eddy, but you all you are doing is hurting your own company with this rubbish. Water cooling is a very niche market with a reasonable number of alternative brands to choose from, and after this debacle, good luck with the future of your company. Because I, along with many others, won't be buying from you again.

Hmm, I thought that was the warranty period and the same verbiage EK support told me a few months ago.

What you should be thinking is whether they will treat this warranty to favor them or the customer. They have screwed the customer out of warranty before, what's stopping them from doing it again

dont flame. contact EK directly (not via forum) and see for yourself how they will handle with you (if you have any problems....) but now looks like EK will do their best to repair that problem.

Have you even read this thread or seen mine? don't flame without researching my friend, I have had 7 EK nickel blocks failed on me. The tickets are long and I have been working with them for 6 months. Its ok if you were not aware but don't accuse me of flaming.
