I think there's some Windows crap causing this, especially considering a full format and reinstall helped me get the driver to show up as an installed program.

BTW, I also have a Gigabyte motherboard, the 6 Series P67A-UD3-B3. Perhaps this motherboard has issues with usb devices...?confused.gif

I've done it correctly as well...

It's not Gigabyte, cause we tried it on an ASUS LGA 775 motherboard, and same issue. We also tried it in my PC, which has an ASRock P67 Extreme4 motherboard...

We really don't know what to do :S

I called up Antec today, they stepped me through this...

-Uninstall Antec CC under add/remove programs.

-Turn off Computer

-Unplug Kuhler USB cable

-Turn on computer

-Go to Microsoft.com and get the latest version of .NET framework, and install it.

-Reboot (keeping Kuhler's usb unplugged)

-Install the Chill Control software first

-While the computer is still on, Plug the usb from Kuhler into the row of 5 pins, with the black wire closest to the missing pin

Sadly, it didn't work for me, but maybe for you? Maybe we can learn something from these very specific steps.

...I know, I'm loosing my mind as well.

UPDATE:

It did not work. Although, the latest .net Framework wasn't installed the software still didn't see it, and Windows still recognized it as an "Unknown Device"...

Man, this really bums me out... Hope Antec will come up with a solution fast.

You're luckier than I am, I can't even get the unknown device to show up. The guy on the phone told me about the "unknown device" and he said he knew what to do next... wish i could say, I didn't get that far.

Did you try updating the unknown device with the driver software?

BTW, ...going to call Antec today, and see if there's anything I can do. I'm already packing it up, to return to the store.

Sorry, been busy all day :S

Tried to update the driver through Device Manager using the install CD, but then it gives an error code saying that the device cannot start.

It's under USB, but should be clearly visible smile.gif

Hope Antec will come up with a solution soon. I'm troubleshooting this with a friend for him, and I really wanted the 920 as well, but after this, I'm not quite sure :S
