Getting this wierd error when using my LCD-TV with a 5770 and trying to use it to display using a HDMI cabel

installing windows works it posts normally but after installing the ATI drivers using either download from AMDs site or Windows update I get this screen after the Windows Loading screen

any ideas what could be causing this? I've tried to different HDMI cabels same thing

Hi Jeppe, have you tried the other ports on the graphics card, do they give you the same issue or is it just with HDMI? Completely remove all drivers currently installed then try to install the latest (11.5) from the manufacturer's website.

I done a full format and installed the drivers I got from AMDs website I've tried using the normal DVI to connect to my normal 1080P LED screen I use for my normal computer it works without a problem I dont have a HDMI->Displayport so I cant test if that works...

also the hdmi->dvi adapter I said worked earlier works until I restart the pc then it gets the same wierd screen until I unplug and replug the hdmi cable...
