I matters not

But from what I can see, all he's trying to do. Is educate you all

When you get people saying "I just ran Heaven Bench at 99% GPU" so I don't have a CPU bottleneck, is just plain silly

It's like saying "I get 99% GPU from FurMark"

I understand what he is trying to do, but it is kinda annoying how he seems to state that every one is a fan boy, the instant they say something contradictory to what he is saying.

So to get some what back on track, the general consensus seams to be to grab the 2500K now?

It's funny I've said fan boy once and certainly wasn't the first to say it. Yet you notice how quickly I'm labeled that "guy".

It doesn't matter how many times I show it, prove it, demonstrate it, the same few people continue to troll it.

I got trolled into buying several AMD chips and through my own ignorance and innocence allowed myself to be believe "I never bottleneck with my quad sli 570s". You can ask the girls, when I had AMD I was never happy with the performance. No matter what I did it wasn't there. Several chips later, and constant reassurance on the AMD forum that the next upgrade offered "more performance" lead me to get no where fast over several months.

A few of those people are in this thread trolling now, and I laugh each time they attempt to "talk" because thats all they do. Ever since SB has released they haven't posted a single benchmark, or shown any proof to their claims. Like I said though it doesn't really matter, SB stomps everything AMD currently has into the ground and there is no reason to believe AMD will be faster than SB in gaming. Heck you might as well wait for IB, with how many times Bulldozer has been delayed (it was going to come out on 40nm btw) you might have to decided between the two.

just buy a am3+ board.. 990fx chip set for 200 and a cheap pll 955 till bulldozer comes out then update...
Or get a z67 pro for $180, and a i5-2500k for $100 more than the 955 and not spend another $200 or more for bulldozer later.

The thing is this will be a one shot deal when I upgrade, i likely wont have the free cash for another upgrade for 3-4 years from now.( need to save every penny for university)

EDIT: this time i have to agree with balla except i'l probably go for a saber tooth or asrock extreme 4 ( hate the normal asus color scheme)
