New Build Not Posting? Help please?

Thread Starter

So I was just able to gather up the parts for my new rig, as shown in my sig, but now that I've assembled them, it's not posting.

Refer to this video >

Basically, I power on, there's a click, the fans I have plugged in work, and LED's shine for about a second, then, everything stops. 7 Seconds later, everything starts again. Ect. Ect.

Posting with MEMOK results in the same thing happening.

Any help at all would be appreciated, i've swapped PSU's and coolers, so it's not the cooler overheating or the PSU.

The video makes it really hard to see what's going oon dude,

So it's not posting, Take out one GPU to start with

Then use your MEMOK button to try to post.

If that fails then remove all devices except your keyboard.

So you push your power button, what happens?

Push the power button, and after a few seconds, all the bells and whistles start working for about a second, then nothing for 7 seconds. Then it powers on again for 1 second, then nothing for 7 seconds.

Motherboard standoffs are installed, & double checked to make sure all the cables are seated securely?

It sounds like it's shorting.

You have removed one of your GPU's haven't you

And again, Motherboard stand-offs, Connections, check your Heatsink backplate is fitted correctly with the sticky things.
