Battlefield Bad Company 2?

Is it worth getting this game right now with BF3 coming out? I just saw it for $20 on bestbuy and I got a gift card......

When I pick it up can I link it up with Steam?

Thanks in advance.

Yes and Yes. Honestly it's personal preference but I would highly recommend it. By the way there is a thread on this page with the same topic I think, may want to read that too.

I will be getting a Q6600 for free soon so I'll use that for now. Don't really need a better system, I'll just turn down the settings. I want better game play over graphics . I will look into Ivy Bridge for BF3 in the future though. Plus saving $20 for a new system is not much ....

Thanks!

It's lots of fun and people still play it. BF3 doesn't come out for 5 months anywho, so you might as well get something to keep you occupied.

Worth getting like everyone said, but it cannot be activated on steam, only added as a non-steam game, which sucks imo, just so you know.

Kk I can link it then...

I read a bit more and do you have to have a team to play a round or can I join a game by myself and just join a team like TF2?
