They got their system with two GTX 570s in it to pull 578W from the wall outlet under "full stress". So if I factor in 85% efficiency, then that would mean that the system pulled almost 492W from the power supply. Guru3D also recommends adding 100-150W to account for the rest of the system, so that would bring me up to about 640W at the most being pulled from the PSU.

However, that's all I know.

When I clocked my single GTX570 with my 4Ghz OC I was topping out at around 550w at the wall. Just what I saw on my own machine.

Not saying you're wrong, but just saying from personal experiance. I am running a Physx card which I was maxing out on folding as well hence so i'm not sure what that was utilising.

Well yeah, but that's still only 467.5W being pulled from the PSU.
