So im about to buy the XSPC Rasa RX240 kit. I was just wondering what else would be good to get. I heard better tubing would be good, and a killcoil? Im getting the kit from jab-tech.com, and i cant seem to find killcoils from them. What tubing would be better than what comes with the kit?

Primochill/Feser/Masterkleer are great tubings that you can choose from.

This is the killcoil, but the site doesn't have a pic of the product.

i would suggest getting a killcoil! and try to get 1/2" ID tubing, as well as some really good fans for ur rad! you would probally do better buying the parts separate instead of a kit, ull get better results!

Well this is the first time installing the water system form me. So the kit seems good in price, just wanted better tubing, because ive read that it isnt the best. The whole tubing sizes still kind of confuses me, like the 1/2 ID and 1/4 OD and stuff. So im just looking for better tubing that fits the kit without changing anything else really.

Il look at those listed above.

I would say get the kit, get some PrimoChill tubing, and then get a killcoil. It's not bad for a starter to watercooling.

ID is inner diameter. OD is outer diameter. Basically, it's just different tubing sizes.

ok the ID is the inner diameter of the tubing, and the od is the outer diameter, i would suggest to get 1/2 id with 3/4 od, its higher flow. and make sure that ur fitting can fit that size.

The kit your buying is fine and you can get a bottle of pt nuke instead of a kill coil(I would try to find it for you but I'm on wp7) primochill makes awesome tubing and I recommend buying 7/16 for your 1/2 inch barbs so you will have a really tight fit. The fans that come with kit are good fans but some people recommend to lube them before you install. A fan controller would really make this setup perfect. I can't remember the model numbers but schthe and sunbeam make some really good ones. Hope this helps!

If you choose to use barbs, buy the 1/2"ID(internal diameter size barbs) then get
7/16"IDx5/8"OD(outside diameter) tubing w/ clamps for more security or tighter fit.

But is you choose to buy compression fittings the ID & OD must match the ID & OD of the tubing.
For example 1/2"IDx3/4"OD tubing, you must buy compression fitting having the same ID & OD.

if your looking to do more then your cpu you will want a bigger rad then the RX240 or if your not in any rush you could wait and see what sort of temps the new corsair h100 gets and whats the difference in price
