Most of the people that this bothers already volunteered. Which is why it bothers us.

The reload type in BC2 irks the hell out of me (not nearly as much as the piss-poor netcode), but I still generally manage to be in the top 5 in every match I play. And not revive whoring as a medic either.

Seriously. The game isnt meant to be a simulation. Its meant to be balanced, which involves reload time.

Yes that reload time means alot to people such as myself, because i know that when a guy steps out and takes some shots and then ducks back, he is reloading, and that is my chance to advance and get different cover, or to flank him and shoot him during a reload, once you learn the different guns, you can know how far you can get.
