Agreed. There's just not enough interest in realistic shooters. The players on the mp servers are either really good, or really bad. The mp gameplay is pretty much a sniper fest or a vehicular slaughter.

The game is not trying to be a sim. How about you complain about 1 man driving a tank and able to teleport from outside to inside a split second.

People like you freaking make me angry. A developer is delivering what is going to the a genre setting shooter here, and all people can do is complain about simple things like that, which is actually done for balance reasons. No they cant slow it down, then it would look stupid as your guy slowly reaches out to reload, as though he was moving at half speed. That would look worse than having the extra bits.
Are you implying that they can't balance the game properly by adding two different reload animations that are at least vaguely close to what you'd do in real life?

I'm not after world-record speed reloads, I'm just looking for correct reload animations in the context of what condition the weapon is in. Generally speaking for assault rifles and magazine-fed pistols, there are two animations you should use, one of which being a weapon fired empty, and the other a weapon with a round still in the chamber (slightly shorter).
