Just ordered me a 2600K/Asus Z68 PRO board - Page 2

Corsair is really working on their H-Series Coolers. Look at the H100. Looks pleasing. I would wait till it hits stores. Should be on shelves within two weeks or so.

DEFINITELY DO NOT waste your money on those crap, overprices, corsair coolers.
For the price of the H100 you can get a custom loop which is 100x better.

Your sig rig states you already have water cooling....?

If you are making a second build and just want an entry level cooler look into the hyper 212, or mugen 2, or if you want the best air cooler look into the noctua d14
The 212 can handle a 4.3- 4.5 oc depending on case airflow and ambient. This is with less than 70C temps (tjmax 98)

Thread Starter
I should have been more specific.

I've got this board/CPU on a torture rack. My sig rig is separate.

There's no way I can put my h70 on it so that's out.

The stock hsf isn't doing so well and I've got 2 fans rigged above it to get it a little cooler.

I've heard about the hyper 212. I wanna get something efficient and quiet. I will check out some of the coolers recommended

Next question, boot cycling problem.....how do I fix this? Anyone have trouble with this?

Whooa take a chill pill dude, All I did is suggest not offer, besides if someone wanted to go and spend money on a Nifty Good Cooler, let them do it. If you say corsair coolers are overpriced and crap, that's your opinion.

Anyways I have an H50 and it maintains an OC'd 2600k cooler then an Cheapo 212 will ever.

for boot issue try enableing power on by pci-e and disable marvel/jmicron sata.
