Monitor Help!

Thread Starter
My monitor for the past few hours has been messing up.

It shows a few colored lines close together horizontally across the top of the screen. It flashes for a half a second and does that randomly and like 20 seconds between each time it flashes it.

I thought it was interference. From what though? Nothign has changed since i got the monitor like 3 months or more ago. It is a AOC 2036 its like 20-21 inches and is lcd.

I have my computer on my desk next to it like 4 inches away so i moved it as far as i can away to now being about a foot away and hasnt helped.

Is it my graphics going bad?
I have never used my integrated graphics till about 3 weeks ago. I had always used my dedicated card but i sold that to a friend because i am going to be getting a new one soon with the money.

I dont think it is interference though because it only happens when windows is loaded or at the login screen never if its in bios.

So That means graphics right?
Those would be the Nvidia geforce 8200gt integrated. I updated those and monitor drivers no luck.
It does however seem to be fixed now that i switched it from 32bit to 16bit in settings... why would it make a difference?

I have my gpu overclocked from 500 to 525mhz and so i undid that and still not fixed so any help solving this would be great!

Umm.... all I can think of is either of your inputs (monitor/graphics card), or the cable that you are using.
