I was going to get a DD block, But everyone in the 6990 club where telling me how nice EK blocks are so I wen't with EK.
I do know that EK 6990 block, And the EK 6970 block line up. So it's easy to watercool a 6970 with 6990, Which I am going to do soon
the ports line nicely but you can't use their bridge as the thickness varies on both. Also, if you have not read EK's statement: no distilled + silver or additive with copper sulphate or possible denial of rma. I hope your blocks are ok, if you haven't checked them, do so asap. EK has set a deadline, who know what they will warrant after that. Btw, no harm in opening up the block.
Op, my vote goes for Koolance, HK "holes ed", and Aquacomputer
