Go with some very nice thermal compound; because you can never go wrong when it comes to the most important component (CPU). I'll edit and put some links later. Hope this helps
I'll post anything else I think of later as well.

I would but i cant afford an aftermarket heatsink, and the stock ones come with pre-applied compound.

Are you from Canada or where? I can possibly help you with cheaper parts if you are from Canada using NCIX.com's wonderful pricematching =P. Shipping all from the same place is very sexy.

EDIT: Nvm I see you are from the states.. will update with best stuff I can find for you

And did you have a case?

One important thing to remember is to constantly ground yourself on the bare metal of the case whenever handling components!

Nice build BTW!

Yeah I have a case already.

This is for gaming but also for some light 3D animation and video editing.

The parts seem mighty to me.

I definitely recommend getting a baggy of zip ties for cable management, which can reduce temps by surprising amounts(I had a 4C drop for load temps when I cleaned up my cables).

And the price difference for going from 4GB to 8GB is so small 8GB is definitely a great choice. Plus your friends will all be impressed.
