Case with good wiring potential

Thread Starter
So my Coolermaster Elite 330 doesn't have enough room behind the mobo to hide the wiring, and even my sleeved wiring looks like crap. I don't need a case with a window, as i don't really show off the inside much. My concerns are mainly getting airflow as unrestricted as possible and the wiring really is getting in the way.

With so many damned cases to choose from, I am looking for suggestions. Preferably one with clean, plain lines, and room for fans, and maybe one that can fit micro, mini, and atx form factors for future upgrades.

Any suggestions would be great.

Most cases only give you half a inch..

Truth is if you want proper wiring you have to get a soldering iron and some heat shrinks.

if you do it properly you will look like you have a wireless PC..

And if you want better airflow get better fans. Preferably deltas

Corsair's cases are pretty nice maybe you should check them out.

Also my Cooler Master 690 II advanced is decent for cable management:

Yep, I'll also plug the CM 690. I got a Rosewill rip of it, and the design of the two are nearly identical. There's enough clearance behind the motherboard try to fit slightly more than a 120x25mm fan. It's not bad, but it still takes some work to get the wiring just right.

The HAF 912 is a great cable management case, so I guess I can say the same for the whole HAF line

Oh yeah. Took me a good while to get mine that nice. I've cleaned it up a bit more scenes I took that pic. With good planing and a bunch of zip ties you can fit all of your cables behind the MB tray.

I have owned a haf 922 and currently own a haf 932 black. The 922 has way more room behind the motherboard tray for wiring. The side panels on the 922 stick out while the side panels on the 932 are mainly flat.

I like the 932 better despite it having less space for wiring, but as far as wiring goes, I think the haf 922 is the best. When I had the 922 I had a corsair tx750 for a psu and was only utilizing 2 sata and 2 pcie and no molex, so as you could imagine I had alot of left over cables not being used. I didnt have any problems hiding them in the 922.

But now with my 932 Im using all my sata plugs, 1 of the molex, and all 4 of my pcie. Even with all those being used I can barely get the side panel on because of the wiring back there.
