The likelihood of a GPU driver issue causing the computer to just flat out shut off like he's talking about is about as high as your winning the lottery with one ticket. That is just not what happens from GPU driver issues.

99.9999% of the time, if your PC is shutting off completely, the cause of this will be one of the following:

1) The PSU is shutting down (i.e. one of its protection circuits is tripping, such as over-current or short-circuit protection), or
2) Some kind of temperature protection kicking on, such as is found on many motherboards for protecting the CPU or IOH or ICH.

The proper steps here are:
1) Reseat the card.
2) Check your Bios for any mobo temp protections being turned on, or set to a low temp.
3) Try the card in another machine, if there's an adequate one available.
4) Try another PSU.

BTW, the GPU-Z shot showing that the 12V rail has fallen to 11.55V ... is a fairly clear indicator that the PSU is struggling

Oh, lastly ... just looked up your PSU ... I don't know where you got the specs in the OP, but according to the model number in your sig (unless they used the same exact model number for >1 unit) ... the newegg listing for it shows that this unit has only one 6-pin PCI-Ex connector, and no 8-pin. So, how exactly are you powering this card, being that it requires an 8-pin and a 6-pin connector?

Also, if this is the same one, then this PSU was designed for pre-2005 computers (think Athlon XP), where the cpu ran on the 5V rail. That unit has only 26A TOTAL on the 12V circuit, but 46A on the 5V rail. This is a clear indication of it being built on an ancient platform.

I'm ready to proclaim w/99% certainty that you need a new PSU.
I had a 4pin to 8pin connector so I used that lol Are there any PSU you recommend for under 100?

It's clearly a PSU problem. As greq said, it's pretty "novice" of you to not read through the entire thread before making silly assumptions.

Why is your GPU's fan at like 92 percent and 4500 RPM when it's floating around 43c. That seems off, or did I read something oddly?

Many different factors could effect this. Just a suggestion when giving suggestions!

Again, people need to start reading the entire thread on support questions.

We've narrowed it to the PSU.
