What memory for Sabortooth with 1090t?

1866,1600,1333, 1090t

I know the 1090t will only due DDR3 1333 speeds but can I get a 1866 kit and use that with different timings? I would like to get the 1866 kit now for bulldozer. Then I have to think about compatibility. What do you guys think?

I have TUF, 1090t & overclocked 1333 and it works great...

Most Thubans will be able to do 1600-1700 just fine 1866 if you really push

get is and if it doesnt work yet put the sabers mem-ok button to work... theoreticly According to asus that should fix "any" memory compatability errors

Mine run fine over 1800mhz. But get the 1866mhz as that is the native speed for the new BD chips. \\Your motherboard will make more of a difference in how well they run that speed. If your getting the new 990fx Sabertooth it should work fine. If not lower it to 1600mhz and tighten the timings till you get your BD chip.

WHAT!!!!!!!!
That most to all 1090T and 1100T can use 2 sticks of DDR3 2000 without a problem. You just need CPU-NB of 3000 to use the memory right. Your CPU-NB speed must be 3 x the base clock of the memory.
Example
1333 (667) = 2000
1600 (800) = 2400
1800 (900) = 2700
1866 (933) = 2799
2000 (1000) = 3000

EDIT
I had a 1090T (4.25ghz), 4gb of DDR3 2000 and CPU-NB speed of 3000. The only thing is that you can't run 4 sticks of DDR3 2000 at 2000. Max with 4 sticks is 1800, but you can only oc the cpu around 3.8ghz.

What memory do you recommend? The most the board can handle is 1866. To tell you the truth I don't feel like playing around when my stuff arrives.

The mobo can handle higher then 1866. The mobo has nothing to do with the speed of the memory you can use it is the IMC, so you can run 2000 without a problem. The 1900 is the limits of the Phenom II X2, X3 or X4 IMC, so that is why it says 1866 max.
I used ADATA DDR3 2000. Any pair of ddr3 2000 with the clock of 8 or 7.

On 2 DIMMs the Phenom II x6 IMC is rock solid, can take on 2000Mhz no problem. On 4 DIMMs I think it tops out around 1850Mhz or so.
