BF3 on disc or get it on Steam? - Page 4

Game won't be coming out on Steam, It'll likely be out on EA's Origin. A few of my friends have told me that they would rather have it online, so that they don't have to keep track of a CD key and a disc. They're afraid they would lose the key or the disc, or damage the disc somehow. I on the other hand prefer a tangible object when I purchase something, and in this case in particular because If I don't have the CD key or disc, I would have to memorize another account name in addition to the billions of user names and passwords I already have for various other things.

I'd prefer the hard copy disk, but I love Blizzards feature to allow me to download the game itself on battle.net. It's comforting to know I have D2 and SC avaiable.

Steam and if it is not available on steam I will get the DVD version and it better not install some dumb EA origins garbage. BF3 isn't a big deal for me but if ME3 isn't on steam where my other 2 are I will be a little ticked.

Buy the retail game, activate the key on Origin. Best of both worlds

Lol is this a joke? How many games released after like 2008 require a disc in the drive while playing?

I plan on getting it on Steam just out of convince, however if you get it on disk then you might be able to pick it up a little cheaper on Ebay...

I however also find it funny that PC gamers always complain about having to put a CD in to play but you never hear them complain about putting a CD into a console to play.

I like having the disc for my favorite games. Lol, walking in to gamestop on release day is always pretty exciting.
