Optimizing my hardware to run games more efficently.

Processor: AMD Phenom II 945 3.45 (overclocked) ghz (step 3) Voltage: Stock
DRAM Modules: 2 2gb A-DATA DDR3 1333 7-7-7-22 Voltage: 1.71
Graphics Card: XFX ATi Radeon HD 5830 1gb GDDR5. Core: 900 Memory: 1300 Voltage: Stock

Is there ANYTHING you guys suggest i could do to increase performance in such games like BFBC2 and Brink

Note all the hardware above IS overclocked and they are all using stock coolers kind of tight on cash atm

The best thing right now, would be buy aftermarket coolers. Stock coolers cannot cope with the heat.

If you could recommend a good aftermarket cooler for 15 dollars that would be awesome. I like to shop on newegg found some really cheap ones but they looked fake and easily breakable. Not to mention they look like they couldnt cool anything

4 thing I see, but you need some money for them.
1) VRM coolers to keep your VRM cool.
2) Aftermaket cpu cooler.
3) DDR 3 1600.
4) Faster HDD, because WB green sucks for gaming.

EDIT

I make you a deal for a good CPU cooler. A Mugen 2 with 2 fans for your Stock cpu cooler and the catch is you paid shipping on both ends.

1) At that small an overclock the VRM's won't need additional cooling. Only if OP is looking 4GHz+ would I recommend even thinking about VRM coolers

2) I second this notion. Something like the Coolmaster 212+;

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...ermaster%20212

3) DDR3 1600 vs 1333 will have barely any real world performance increase. Only in benchmarks

4) Hard drive speed only affects load times not FPS, so a new HDD is totally useless.
