How would I keep it in the reservoir and prevent it from flowing into the loop ?

Once it's in the XSPC reservoir it won't float or go into the intake for the pump. Just drop it in and you'll see.

Are they pretty heavy enough to not float and can resist the pump's sucking power ?

Hello Nyt

Nice to see a fellow carb member on here

I just ordered 4 kill coils from PPC for my loop (I was advised 4 by the Owner of Mayhem dyes, also, I am going to be running 2 x of the res/pump combo you got and a cpu, gpu, mobo blocks and 2 x 360mm rads so.....)

Also, hope im not hijacking (if I am plz forgive me Nyt ) but what is the cernario regarding distilled and deionised water?

Can I not go down to my local car shop and ask them for some of there battery water?

Mik

Both distilled water and DI water remove inorganic ions. Distillation will also boil over volatile impurities(anything that has a vapor/partial pressure) in water into the distilled water. DI process does not remove dissolved organics.
That is the best way to explain it. You can also get Nuclease free and DNase and RNase free water too.

some people use a silver coin or something like that, any pure silver will work just fine.
