Just to make sure you know (or anybody else reading), computer power supplies are switched-mode power supplies and not linear. Efficiency is bad at lower loads, but it's also a little worse at heavy loads than at loads in between. "A little worse" may be only a couple percentage points drop in efficiency at full load, so this point tends to be overemphasized.
