Tempted to buy..or should I save up.

Ok I currently have a GTS 450 and 8800GTX folding...but the 8800GTX is cooking up my sig rig pretty bad...

I can pick up 2 EVGA GTS450 for $160, and have 3xGTS450 folding..

Or should I try selling my GTS450 and 8800GTX and pick up something beefier for folding...(2xGTX460/560ti)

I just love the cyclone it folds 24/7 @44C while the 8800GTX is cooking at ~80C, so I wonder if 3xGTS450 would produce less heat then the current GPUs.

I don't play games that much, just watch HD movies.

The cyclone is putting heat into your case heating up your other components - I think the 460's/560ti's would do much better folding then 3x 450's as they are significantly more powerful - it would also produce far less heat and you would of course have room for a 3rd 460/560ti in the future of folding

I'm pretty sure its the 8800GTX that is putting heat in the case..I had that thing by it self folding and it gets pretty hot..

GTS450 idles at 30C! Ah **** it I'll pick those up since its a good deal for unopened GPUs I'll wait till Kepler comes out to upgrade to a beefier GPU.

Thanks for the input tho.
