Dear members of Overclock.net,

i bought a few months ago a new pc for gaming ends, so i decided to buy:
Motherboard: Asus P8P67 EVO B3,s1155
Version. 1502
Processor: Intel Processor Core i7-2600K, s1155
Windows: Windows 7, 64-bit Home edition
Graphic card: i allready had the, Ati Radeon HD 5770 1GB.

Cause of windows problems i reinstalled windows and all drivers that came with the cd of Asus but i was wondering if these are the latest drivers.

Oke, i will come to the point...
i do not have any knowlage about these kind of things and i am affraid to break something so i would like to ask you if you can give me the link(s) to the newest drivers for my motherboard (and for my graphic card), and maybe a short explenation 'how to install' if needed cause also from this i have no knowlage of.

i Hope any of you can help me, cause you people seem to understand these things.

Ow and for overclocking i use the standard BIOS settings cause i dont want to break my computer.

Thank you in advange, i would be really happy if some one could help me happysmiley.gif

everythings pretty straight forward, download, extract, install, just make sure to have 7zip or WinRAR

and as for overclocking im sadly not your guy, so maybe someone else could explain it to you. Good Luck

Thank you for your fast reply, i looked at the first link you gave me and i selected OS 64-bit Windows 7 --> Bios --> and then i see the 1502 version, but above that one is also a 1606 Beta version, is it possible to take that one or do i/can i only use the 1502 version?

i Have winrar and when i open the rar i see a file, but what do i do with this exactly? Sorry for asking again...

I would not use the beta. I'll stick with the 1506

you mean the winrar file for the bios?

EDIT: i'm not reading clearly, you just said you're not gonna update bios...

extract everything from winrar and run the EXE file in there, should be fairly straight forward

Hello i am back again,
well i downloaded the file version 1502 like u suggested and i have a .Rar with this inside it: P8P67-EVO-ASUS-1502.ROM
i extracted it to my desktop but clearly i am not able to open or use this cause i do not have the program that can run/open the .ROM file...

Did i needed to extract it maybe somewhere else or do i need to do something diff ?

For the graphics card Windows 7 usually would update that for you (not always the best but they do get it right most of the time.

For your motherboard, try this video on how to flash bios

Thank you Nethermir !! And all the others ofcourse biggrin.gif

Well, my BIOS is up-to-date, and it took a few seconds to load the files.

Now on the Asus website there are several downloads like:
Chipset, Audio, Lan and some others... Do you suggest i also install the latest version of all options or just leave it in this way?

If you say Update, will the way of the installation be the same like the BIOS ?

Thank you once again, you made my day !
