360 Rad + 240 Rad = Worth or Not worth?

Thread Starter
Hi every one,

I am upgrading my Rig, from 950 to 2600k, i with my currant watercooling setup. I will be using xspc 360 Rad with rasa block for the new cpu. Also i will not watercool me new 580/570 gpus when they arrive.

So i have an extra 240 Rad, should i add it with the 360? Or it will not worth? (I will gain nothing)

For your future system not worth it if you're not water cooling the gpus. But since you already have a 240Rad why not?

Going to say this

I might be doing something similar in November or so but still don't know if watercooling GPUs is really worth it.

Even if you don't put your GPUs underwater you will at least have the room to do so in the future should you decide to, if you keep that radiator in the loop!.

I'm basically about to put the same thing together. I currently have a 240mm CPU only Kit for my 2600k and just ordered an RS360 kit and blocks for my GPUs. So its a similar situation. My only debate is whether to combine the two loops.

As everyone else is saying, add it in if you have it; it wouldn't be worth it if you had to pay for it though. But a decent pump will easily be able to handle the extra restriction it provides, so you should see some temperature decrease.

It will also give you room to put your GPU's under if you decide to in the future.

Sound good here. So since it will give me some extra temp down overall, i should add it to my loop..
