Sorry for posting in the wrong section...but i want to upgrade my old computer with a motherboard named "asus M2N68-LA" and my computer is quite old, it's HP pavilion a6110n with amd 4400+ x2 processor...that being said, i want to know what type of processors i'll be able to fit into the motherboard.

It is only for AM2 cpus. No bios update for any AM2+ or AM3 cpus.

So i'm pretty much with the best CPU i can get with that motherboard? Any suggestions on what kind of other motherboards i can buy which might fit inside that casing because the casing is quite small.

its not worth upgrading the board in oem cases
they can be tough to reuse, most have different fp connectors (power, led's, usb, audio ect..) that can be difficlut to pinout

and some use different bolt patterns for the boards so an atx board will not even fit

just spend the extra $30-50 on a new case
you will get much better airflow and have an easier time putting it together

you can reuse the hdd, cd, card reader tho

hm, my motherboard is green in color although it has all those hardwares (video, sound pins...) as mentioned in the specs of that blue one...what is the difference then is it only the color?
