If I was doing all that at once, I would personally get more RAM but I suppose you have your reasons.
Regardless, I personally like having stability while browsing; countless times, a single ailing tab has caused Firefox to fail making me have to kill the entire browser in order to get it working again. I have NEVER had this problem since I started using Chrome due to the fact that it sandboxes tab. If a single tab in Chrome ever fails, it doesn't bring down the rest of the browser with it. It's a feature I'm willing to use my RAM for.
