I wish I had screenies of my AMD chips still, but I don't, so I'll just have to put up what I have currently.

Temperature and other diagnostic software is only as good as the sensor data it's provided. It's pretty well known that this data will vary from motherboard to motherboard as well as from chip type to chip type. AFAIK this is based on readings available from the smbus, which may not even read the needed data from the correct bus. This doesn't mean your cores are really at 19 degrees celsius, it just means that the software is reading either from the wrong bus, or is interpreting it incorrectly.

Unless of course I am to believe my SSD is really operating at 1c, my nonexistent fans plugged into headers are truly spinning at 164RPM, my computer lacks a 12v line and I don't have a CPU temperature.

I hear ya, I was just guessing 'cuz it makes sense for those 2 cores.

When we look at CPU7 the multiplier is 5.0, with a 14% load, and it's running 983?

BD is a whole new beast that we have to get used to.

Each core has its own multiplier, running at different frequencies, the highest load is on the last core, yet, all temps are perfectly in sync, lol.

I wonder how overclocking is going to work, with all the cores having different multipliers like that.

Thank you, but I think I made that point. Core temps on Intel chips are normally correct and thats what intel users use to monitor temps. Core temps on AMD chips are incorrect.

Okay, I must have misunderstood you then. I thought you actually believed your core temperatures were 19c when your cpu temp reads 30+. Just making sure we're on the same page.

On topic: I'm dying to see some benchmarks!

The sensors aren't "BROKEN".
The Thuban sensor is calibrated to become accurate at around 45C,or temperatures when the CPU is loaded, load temps are what matter. Idle temps are useless unless you have the cooler on wrong.

Lol, I wish. No I am knocking everyone else for believing the pic in the OP that shows the BD chip running at 19C. Im sure its more like 27-30c, since thats the core temp being displayed. AMD OD uses core temp.

But I digress, just happy this chip even exsist!!!
