He's probably a lower sensitivity user. Some games don't allow the sensitivity to be set below a certain threshold.

Sure but then that's only if you trying to get the same 360/CM as your previous mouse. If you leave it at sens 1 and use 1800dpi is it not possible to get used to that sensitivity or is it unusable? I don't play CS so can't test.

Its easy to change from being a low sens gamer to medium. I used to be a Low sens gamer but as mouse technology (especially polling rate) and mouse pads has improved my sens has gone up. In fact I couldn't be as low sens as I used to be 10 years ago simply because of the increased control in gaming gear.

Played with a fixed sensi of 1.3 with my DA 1.8 , then 3.5G ..Ah well , the spawn came so naturally to me , I jumped to 2.0 overnight and have never been faster/ more precise in my movements. Just bought a CM storm mouse pad today , sick of my razer pads.. It's smooth as butter!

BUT! My darn mouse feet SUCK!! The spawn's sensor picks up a to of much too .. easy to clean though.. just blow at it
