Fox McCloud and co. are heading back into retail stores this September, Nintendo announced this morning, with Starfox 64 3D. It was also revealed that the 3DS camera will snap your picture and replace the tiny box of your player character in the lower part of the screen, meaning you'll be the one uttering unintelligible sayings to friends rather than Slippy and others. Doobadoombabup, we say! The game also features tilt controls, as previously revealed, which we'll be sure to get our hands-on with this week.

i actually enjoyed the first game. It was my first Gamecube title (Blast to the past)

I still think the original is the best.

I still remember when I beat the game for the first time. I just sat there and was in shock that I finally won.

Super Nintendo Star Fox is a game of absolute skill.

I am saddened by the fact that I was born juuust a little too late to enjoy SNES (1989) though I did play my fair share of Donkey Kong, Mario, etc. on SNES, n64 was king when I was of gaming age. But Star Fox 64 was the best game, especially the multiplayer.

Oh how I remember the feeling of passing that game. It was great. I remember a few years ago I used to get bored I would go to Game Crazy and buy a N64 console and starfox just to play with for a little bit, beat it, and then take it back. Wasted a lot of money but was worth it to me to play it again.

never played Super Star Fox, but in Starfox 64, I beat the bottom/middle path a bajillion times. But I don't think I ever beat the top path. I think I got to the final boss fight once or twice, but could never beat him. Do you remember the submarine level? That was awesome. Or the boss fight where he threw bombs at you when you were flying over the water?
