Right. What´s your ambient temperature usually like? I get better temps with my old 9700-CNPS which I don´t think is right (correct me if I´m wrong).

P95 threads aren't synced up and can do that. I usually had them staying within +/-3 tests of each other. First worker usually being the most behind. (I don't mess with my computer while I stress it)

It's more than likely just the background processes and your web browsing slowing that core.

Only other way to test would be to run a single threaded benchmark on each core one at a time, no?
AMD, I give up.

Thermostat's set to 76 degrees (Fahrenheit, dunno what that is in Celsius) and the AC usually does a pretty good job of keeping it within 2 degrees of that.
(If you're saying "your CPU runs a little hot"... I've tried reseating my heatsink several times with the same results, I just have a hotter running chip I think)

Edit: I think yall are right and it was just Prime 95 acting weird. I put in my 4.7GHz settings into the BIOS (instead of using AISuite in Windows) and all 4 threads are within 1 test of each other. That could have either been just simply me rebooting, or something weird going on with AISuite's overclocking

Glad it´s fixed.

Just curious, but why would you use software to overclock your cpu in the first place? What is more correct than BIOS? tongue.gif

I'm kinda lazy, and finding out if stuff is stable/run's too hot (mainly to see what's too hot, I do my serious stability testing with a BIOS setting) is usually faster when you don't have to reboot every time you want to switch between say, a 47 and a 46 multiplier tongue.gif

One core still has to do otherthings, and will update slower than the rest. You are still running an OS etc and that requires CPU power
