How will a GTX 470 do with ME 1-3?

Thread Starter
I'm really into the Mass Effect series, I got to say, it's one of the best game series I have played in awhile. I own Mass Effect 1 and 2 both for the console. But console graphics aren't doing me justice. I want to know if my sig rig running a EVGA GTX 470 SC' will be able to run Mass Effect 1-3 nicely and with everything maxed out, or will I need another 470 to run it maxed out? Thanks in advance.

Tali FTW.

ME2 is one of the only games I bothered playing on PC and it ran perfectly fine with my old 470 @ 775c at my native res 2048*1152 with everything set to the max.

470 you should be able to max out most settings if not all (for 1 & 2) - its not really that crazy demanding of a game, CF 4870's when I had them easily maxed out ME2 and there basically add up to a 5870.

It'll eat those games for breakfast. ME2 ran well maxed out (no AA) on my old rig, w/ AMD 64 X2 6000+ CPU and Ati Radeon 4850.

Alright thanks everyone. Planning to play at 1920 x 1080 with full AA and everything.
Glad it's not the graphic's intensive as I thought. Thank's again smile.gif.

I maxed ME1 and ME2 with no issues on a 4890. ME3 only time will tell but if it runs as good as the first two then your 470 will have no issues at all.

Your good. ME3 is running on the same engine as ME2. Actually they all run on the UE3 engine.

My 445M GT can max out ME2 at 1600x900, so you should have no problems..
