Replacing a 5.25" on my Cerwin Vega LS-10's?

Thread Starter
Hey, I currently have a set of Cerwin Vega LS10's, and I find that they are too loud in-comparison to my Klipsch B20's and Klipsch C20, and I've pretty much narrowed it down to the 5.25" speakers that are on them. They almost seem like they are tweeters, they have a hard cone, and do not move AT ALL even when cranked all the way. I feel as if I have more than enough high's, so I was thinking about replacing it with something with a littler more mid-range power.

What would be some good replacements?

Swapping drivers is not a good idea. The cabinet, drivers, and crossover work together to make the speaker and you really shouldn't just change one part or another without the proper knowledge.
