I have Too many Fans?

Thread Starter
My Coolermaster HAF-X case is being remplaced with 200mm led fans
so 2x in top (outake both), 1x front (intake), 1 Side window (intake)

then 1x rear Enermax Appolish vega 140mm (outake)

For CPU heatsink Silver arrow with 1x Ty-140, 1x Enermax T.B trio 120mm
For VGA afterfan Artic cooling accelero xtreme plus

Now... Left overs i have a Thermaltake Cyclo pattern 120mm (very cool)
and another Enermax T.B Trio pwm fan

I found a picture of a place i could install another fan
here marked in green rectangle on the photo
Would it be a good idea to put the thermaltake cyclo pattern there
or will this give bad airflow too many fans?

Not sure if it will fit there cause i will have
Gtx580, asus xonar sound essence, gskill ripjaws X etc..

Ok that fan will have to be controlled by the PC with speed at full
so i see 2 problems Noise and maybe too much airflow?

But is just a pity not to use the Cyclo pattern too since is quite cool
OR... i could just use the Enermax T.B trio and put it that position

What you think
should i just keep this 2 fans for reserve or should i place one of them
where the green triangle is.

NOTE: dont think the photo of the case is haf-x but it look a bit similar of my case anyway

You can never have to many fans! try to map out your air flow and make sure you have equal in/equal out.

No, sometimes it can just be overkill, and end up doing nothing besides making noise.

That looks like you don't have a good balance between exhaust and intake.

I think I died when I got my phantom and saw those 200mil's lol Coming from my mid tower with all 120's. Just gotta make sure you have equal exhaust and intake. Also take your cards into account with fan placement.
