you wont need 16GB of RAM, youll probably barely need 8GB.

I wouldnt bother with socket 1366 if i was you,i think you should be looking at socket 1155 with an i7 2600k cpu,its still got hyperthreading and it will compete with 990 and give similar results for a lower price.

You got a few options with gpu' it would help if you could give a budget but if money was no option then id be up for GTX580 sli,if money gets tight when it gets to gpu' then stick with CFX 6950,

Ram,8gb should be enough unless your specifically using a program thats ram intensive,8gb is more than enough for games my 6gb is still more than enough.

If you can afford the overkill without going SR-2, use me!!! =P

Don't use my case for aircooling though. And if you have extra cash, get a Caselabs M8 or a Littledevil PC-V8.

You cannot use your 5770 with 580 card. No motherboard supports it.

You also need a normal drive for storage, can't fit everything on a ssd. And you're missing a DVD/BR drive

i7 2600k
8GB Anything but OCZ lol
Performance 3 series is good choice but I believe there's a recall on them right now.
ASUS P8Z68-V PRO
Corsair 750/850 is good. No need for 1000.
Case.. is more a personal preference. I like the Corsair 650D for like $200.

I'm sorry mate, but I don't think this is good advice for someone asking help to build a Gaming rig!
