[softpedia]OnLive Intros App That Turns Android Tablets into Touch/Motion Controllers - Page 2

Onlive isn't my preferred gaming experience but it's performance is great honestly. I don't know why everyone seems to think it's horrible.

Considering the lack of PC demos nowadays there isn't a better way to try a game out before you buy it IMO.

Oh, so you're the guy who bought one!

J/K. Actually one of the more interesting proposals I've read recently is a suggestion that Netflix should buy OnLive. They're already doing video streaming, adding game streaming would make it a more compelling platform and maintain its clear superiority over the competitors (Amazon Prime, etc.) I don't think I subscribe to this concept...but I do think getting bought out by a larger player as an "add-on" to other services (maybe even by a cable operator, for example?) is the only way OnLive is going to survive past three years.

Wow Duckie, nice find. This could definitely lead to tablets replacing laptops without having to having to worry about hardware performance. You could be playing BF3 on your tablet in class some day. Onlive isn't too bad either. It's not any worse than playing on a console.
