i would like to know is it worth me going crossfire or sli with the gigabyte geforce 9600gt 1gb on my giagyte ga-890fx-ud5, i know the mobo doesn't support sli what are my options get a faster card like the geforce gtx560 ti.
i do a lot of video editing, home theatre, make music videos.

Firstly, nVidia cards are SLI'd, not crossfire'd.
Secondly, I'd recommend you to get a brand new card instead of either buying a new MB which supports SLI or doing some crazy mod to SLI on a non-SLI MB.

Just my opinion.

One, a 560Ti will blow a 9600GT out of the water.

Two, P95 stresses your CPU, not your GPU.

With that, am I being trolled?

if u really want something better and low cost, go for a gts 250. You can find them pretty cheap. If you want a really good card, an ati 6970 or a gtx 560 ti will be awesome.

Your 9600 gt keep it as a spare card. We are in 2011 dude you seriously need to upgrade
