New PC Speakers

Hey guys, im sure there are other things i could be upgrading on my pc but i think its time for a new sound system or something.

I had old PC speakers and they sucked so i went over to PC world and bought a cheap £10 set of speakers good quality for the price and volume wasnt bad either. Now with all my loud music and gaming they seem to have slightly busted they make a crackling noise when i turn it up to a certain level.

Iv never had a good sound system for my PC, can i make a real difference to ur gaming experience?

im looking in the region of around £40 possibly for something, heres what im thinking so far.
