It's frustrating and pointless, and does not help the team win. Reviving efficiently is helping your team win.

Perhaps you would like to be revived 5 times in a row and killed each time, and end up dead in the end.
Happens all the time, but I've been in numerous matches where even the "pointless" revives have helped win it with nothing but a few tickets between the victor and the loser. Last night I was revived 7 times within 30 seconds, and in that time I was able to get off a grenade and some rounds to take out enough guys that my team could advance.

Medics can't determine when it's a safe time, all of the time. Bunch of monkeys could pop out of the grass and start shooting when they think it's safe. You have two seconds once revived, in that two seconds, most times you can determine your next action.

I wish this wasn't coming out while I'll be in basic.

Suppressing fire + no health regeneration = F YEAH!!!!!!!

I cant WAIT to play a current gen Battlefield game where I can actually go prone with an LMG and lay down some pressure. Playing support classes (medical or ammo based) has always been my favourite thing to do in battlefield games pre bad company.

Haven't read the article, but if the dedicated MG support class returns then squad team play will become even more important.

Cant wait to see how it turns out after everyone settles down and gets to grips with the new strategies.

THANK YOU DICE!!!!! I hate playing BC2 and someone will keep reviving me over and over right in the heat of battle so I die almost instantly....again....and again.
The other day I revived a guy and he was sniped immediately, then I kept reviving him for points. I felt like a total ass hat, but it was an interesting experience to say the least.

I'm sure it was an "interesting" experience for the guy being revived too.

Thanks for proving my point though.

I hope they put a hardcore mode for realism or there are just realism server mods.

I hope they implement the 'Q' and 'T' Commo rose. It really helped. As for healing, at least don't make it instant. As for reviving, instead of reviving to 100% hp, it should revive to 25% or maybe 50% hp (since 25% you'll probably get killed easily) to encourage body dragging then reviving then healing, then fighting, and thus more points and a more team based fighting, instead of revive, 100% then run around the corner like in BF2 lol, I hate that.

Heres a video by the guys from DRMB detailing some of the specific classes, weapons and other things they've noticed about the multiplayer:
