Ok Guys Need Help Choosing Between Two Cards :)

Thread Starter
Hi guys,i am going to upgrade my vga and i cant choose between these two cards:
Sapphire Ati HD5750 1Gb Gddr5 Or 512Mb Gddr5 And
Sapphire Ati HD6750 1Gb Gddr5
Whitch one should i get,i play Crysis,Starcraft2 those kind of games
My monitor is A daewoo 37'' plasma tv max res that i play at is 1360x768 at 75hz,i know that more graphics mem is used when playing at high res,do you guys think that the 5750 512mb is enought for that res.?
So guys which card is better, the 6750 is slightly high price but if its way better i will buy it
Also if someone knows what is the 6750 mem.bandwidth, how much gflops makes, how many texture units and raster operators does it have, pls tell me?
i use this site to compare gpus but they dont have 6750
http://www.gpureview.com/show_cards....=654&card2=616

So come on OCN i believe that you will help me
Also i am migrating from HD4770 will i see higher fps with the rig in my sig?
Are there going to be any bottlenecks? Ok BB for now

You'll be alright with either card. Go for the one you can get cheapest, there's not much performance difference between the generations.

But if you want to max out Crysis settings, you'll probably want a 5830.

Well i dont want to max anything that i play yes i know there is not much diff between the generations but my question was which is better(i dont need all the eye candy)just wont to play at aceptable framerate,is the 5750 512mb enough for the res i play?I need some solid number guys.the price diff between 5750 1gb and 6750gb is 8$ so..........
And i dont need the latest vga i dont use it that much, also if i get sometihng powerfull there will be bottlenecks and then i will have to safe money again to get a new rig(no thanks)

6750 is a direct rebrand of the 5750, physically the exactly the same card I'd go for the cheapest

You get HDMI 1.4 port with HD 6750 if you need that.
But I bet you don't.
Anything is fine.
512MB is enough for 1360 x 768. But get 1 GB version. You might think to purchase a 1080p monitor later.

Ok so what is the diff between HDMI 1.4a and the current of my 4770 1.3 i think
And my monitor is 1080p but when i sellect 1920x1080 it runs at only 30hz so no.........i wont buy new monitor soon maybe after a year or so.
so you say 5750 and 6750 are the same the only diff is the hdmi 1.4a?
i saw that there might be chance to unlock the shaders of 5750 from 720 to 800 is this possible? and the rops from 3x to 40? THanks for the replyes guys,i hope you will help me with this one

For higher resolutions it is better to have more vRAM.
so if you got the money get the 1GB version.
Besides from unlocking stuff you can always overclock your card.
But it might be better idea to get a decent card.
Maybe you could tell us what the prices for these cards are.
Some 5850ish card isn`t expensiv and if it isn`t completely over your budget you might want to think about getting one.
