Sean, I'm doing the tests ATM, but core temps are reaching 100ºc lol guess thats not good. that means I can't overclock right now? lol
I took a look at my bios, it's a little different from yours, gonna post some pics later, with the tests results

I already ordered a hyper 212 plus, guess it will take a couple days to arrive. should I go ahead and add an extra fan to the other side of the 212?

cheers!

Yeah you really should not oc now. 100!!! that is insane!!! Did you pop in the pins all the way when you mounted the cooler in the first place? Is there thermal paste? I would shut down that pc and seset the heat sink.

Also i see your systin temp is a little high as well. min is anywhere form 30-38 but not 56.

When the 212 is fine with only one fan you get a 2-3 degree drop at load if you have two. So its up to you.

And i see you set your ram to 1600MHz not 1333MHz. What speed is your ram? b/c you stated it was 1333.

yeah, all this heat is weird.
I mentioned I'm having slowdowns due to my HD right? before I discovered it was the HD, I was ruling out all hardware, so I just took all the dust off my cooler, reapplied thermal paste, made sure the cooler was fixed in place with the pins tight, and that it wasn't the cause. so It should be as cool as possible... perhaps the stock cooler is that bad? or maybe my thermal paste isn't good at all. idk, will see when I get my 212. also, should I worry about my systin temp?

and my ram is 1600 indeed. I said 1333 before because when I bought I was between 1333 the 1600, so I wasn't sure wich one I bought, been quite a while now, but I checked, it's 1600mhz, pc12800.

So, Idle temperatures dropped to about 36ºC. gonna test later the use, but i don't know, I don't think temperature will stay at 80-85 degrees at maximum usage, though I might be wrong

alright, gonna test asap

I also took my ram cards off to see their specs, and they are actually F3-12800CL9D-4GBRL DDR3-1600 PC3-12800 2GBX2 CL9-9-9-24 1.5v

probably 4GBRL and 2gbx2 just mean that they come in dual channel kits, but I have 3 of them as mentioned.

problem is that it stats CL9D, timings of 9-9-9-24, and last time I checked CPU-z, it said 8-8-8-20 (whats weird, because there are no mems with a timing of 20 afaik)

I'm gonna see what cpu-z says now that I reinstalled windows, but should I worry if it states something different than my actual spec? I'm thinking of buying another 6gb, thats why I'm concerned.

You need to set the timmings manually in the bios. Set them to 9-9-9-24-2N in the bios. They are set yo 8-8-8-20 in then bios right now It's not going to change in cpu-z.
