Personally, i think the Asus looks ugly... but that's my opinion. But yeah, the Asus takes 3 slots while the MSI only takes 2, both are non-reference designs, which is good because of those bad VRMs on the reference ones. according to this thread: http://www.overclock.net/nvidia/9899...frozr-iii.html

most people seemed to be able to get up to 900 core. Although, MSI factory tests their cards for OC at high voltages that sometimes they accidentally lower the voltage too much for their factory OC and people get "unstable" cards that are fixed, by simply increasing the voltage

well i have the direct cuII and the lightning(twin frozr iii) and quite honestly i find the lightning to be as good as the cuII while taking up 1 less slot which might not seem important now but might be in the future,i have noticed that the "auto" fan speeds of the lightning are a bit higher than the cuII's which does make them SLIGHTLY louder.

Taking up one less slot would e the deal maker for me
